Terms of Service

Terms for Tiny Desk AI accounts, authorized portraits, AI concert generation, credit purchases, private outputs and support.

Last updated: 2026-10-29

Operator and acceptance

These terms govern Tiny Desk AI Video Generator at tinydeskvideo.net, operated by Tiny Desk AI Team. Contact support@tinydeskvideo.net for service, billing or rights questions. By using the service you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and able to enter an agreement under the law applicable to you.

Tiny Desk AI is an independent creative tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NPR or Tiny Desk Concerts. Third-party names identify references or services and do not imply endorsement.

What the service provides

The service lets you upload an authorized portrait, choose a desk-concert scene and supported settings, and request a private AI performance video when real generation is available. The available model, scene, parameters and credit quote are shown before submission. Not every listed model or multi-person capability is enabled or verified.

Mock mode returns a fixed synthetic test MP4 with a test tone. It does not animate your portrait, demonstrate model quality or promise free real generation. Scene illustrations are references rather than generated customer examples. The separate concept studio saves and exports prompt drafts; saving a draft does not render a video.

AI output can contain face changes, inaccurate gestures, artifacts or audio timing errors. We do not guarantee exact likeness, lip synchronization, a particular song, originality, copyright protection, acceptance by another platform or viral reach. A reference soundtrack and a post-render soundtrack replacement do not guarantee matching sung words. Review every output before use.

Your account and permitted material

Keep login credentials secure and tell us about suspected unauthorized use. You must own or have the necessary rights and informed permission for every portrait, prompt, audio file and other input, including permission from each depicted adult for AI processing. Do not upload minors, celebrities or public figures.

Do not use the service for impersonation, fraud, deceptive endorsements, harassment, non-consensual intimate imagery, unlawful content or infringement of privacy, publicity, copyright or trademark rights. Do not bypass provider safety rules, misuse accounts, probe private data or disrupt the service. We may refuse or suspend prohibited requests and investigate reports.

Inputs and generated outputs

You retain rights you already hold in your inputs. You give us a limited permission to store, transmit and process them, including through the configured model and infrastructure providers, to fulfill your requests, secure the service and resolve support issues. Public promotional use of private portraits or outputs requires separate permission.

As between you and Tiny Desk AI Team, we do not claim ownership of your generated output, subject to applicable law, input rights and the relevant provider terms. We cannot grant rights to someone else's likeness, song, performance or other protected material. Outputs may not be unique or legally protectable. Commercial use requires you to confirm the rights and provider conditions relevant to your use.

Prices, credits and payments

The pricing page and checkout show the available one-time USD credit packs; these are not recurring subscriptions. Generation cost depends on the selected model, resolution and duration and is quoted before submission. Credits are service-use units, not currency, transferable funds or an investment. We do not promise cash redemption except where required by law or an approved refund.

A task reserves its quoted credits when accepted. Successful completion keeps that charge. Confirmed failures return the original reservation once. If a submission receipt, provider outcome or output is uncertain, the task may enter manual review with credits held while we reconcile the existing task. Refreshing or repeating the same accepted request must not create a second charge; creating a separate task may incur a separate charge.

Purchases are fulfilled after verified payment. Future prices can change prospectively; completed purchase records and accepted task charges are not retroactively repriced. Payment refunds are different from returning generation credits. Read the Refund Policy before buying. Mandatory consumer rights remain available.

Availability, storage and termination

Generation depends on third-party services and may be delayed, declined or unavailable. No fixed delivery time or uninterrupted availability is promised. Private outputs require your account and expiring links; download copies you need to keep. Retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy, and permanent storage is not guaranteed.

You may stop using the service and request account closure through support. We may restrict use for material breaches, abuse or legal requirements, or discontinue a feature with notice where reasonably possible. Any remaining balances, paid services and refund requests will be handled under the applicable terms and law. Closing an account does not erase records we must retain.

Responsibility, disputes and changes

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an as-available basis without additional promises beyond these terms. We are not responsible for third-party interruptions or losses caused by unlawful or unauthorized use of your inputs. Nothing excludes liability, warranties or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable protections concerning fraud or personal injury.

For a dispute, first email us with the relevant order or task reference so we can investigate. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or remove any court, regulator or consumer protection available under applicable law. We may update the terms and show the revision date; material changes and any required new acceptance will be handled as required by law. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights. See Contact for reporting options.
